How do you mold such intricate details with spun cotton? I see from your pictures that your armatures go far beyond the work I've seen by other artists, but am still at a loss for how you build volume with such precision! How do you wrap the cotton around the smaller features, like the fingers? How do you color your pieces?
Katie S Hello and WELCOME !!! I tried doing a tutorial late last year for friends but not many takers. Anywho I taught myself to work with the fiber filaments mostly, using my fingers to wrap them around, tiny brushes help and their edges for the creases, needless to say they dont stay new for long.
