It is through sadness ,tears and pain to know that I can never see your dear face again.
Our days together were a precious few ,so how can I now say goodbye to you ?
I need to hear you call my name and feel your presence and your warm embrace...just once more...
but that just once more would never be enough and it hurts me to the core that I have to say ...

Her final Rosary was said Saturday @ 7pm with friends and family .....

oh dear Flora, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. so difficult to lose someone so special to you. I hope your memories and knowing that she is free and happy will help you ease on with out her here in this earthly place, until you can see her again in a far better place!

It is timely that I came to your blog to see how you were doing. My heart goes out to you and your immediate and extended family at the loss of your dear sweet mother. A mother's love can never be replaced. May loving memories keep her presence with you in your time of grief. I know this is something we never get over this side of Heaven. I cry with you, knowing the emptiness of losing one's parents. I lost my mother in 1997 to a rare autoimmune disease that she was diagnosed with in September, and died Thanksgiving week the following November. Then just this past September my Dad passed after a massive stroke. He was found in his garden where he was watering at the time. At least he fell doing what he loved.
A day will not go by that you will not think of her. The memories never lose their potency and drop by drop will fill that void you feel in your heart.

Dana, How I've missed you ,it' so good to hear from you and I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of both your parents ,maybe your momma called to your dad on that day ...
I truly feel a sense of peace about my mom's passing ,she kept having accident after accident,but she was a fighter and came back to us after each accident all except this last one, her body slowly gave out till she was gone .
It's an unusual and empty feeling to lose momma , Thank you and bless you.
