I had no set idea to work off of ,I just started spinning ,didn't do a " full before " but took a picture to show the finished side of the figures face as I worked and a finished face " after " in the next picture.

Hello vivian, No, it's just a combination of cotton balls and medical grade cotton rolls over a narrow Styrofoam base smoothed out with a filberts brush that's been dipped in watered down white glue.
