A little something...

I've been working on, on my down time...She's made of paper mache clay, her head is hollow.

Pictures help to see what need to be fixed on my real BJD project. I made a smaller doll years ago, Raven , but she really wasn't ball jointed, this one will be, more or less. I think I like the eyes, these are the second pair I inserted as I didn't really care to go with the beads I put in first, I woulda had to paint them in. I got these a few years ago too, vintage japanese glass eyes off ebay. Gotta figure out how to do the head stringing and where to purchase what kind of string to use , I read that some used wire, I was thinking coated wire.. any suggestions ??....More to come, see ya!!!

You are an amazing sculptor, Flora! I tried a couple of times, and know for sure how difficult sculpting heads can be. And this one is just perfect!!! Hats off for you! Respect!

Hi Flora, thanks for visiting my blog. I will be making another box and will post about it as I go. I need to finish up some projects before I start another! You know how that is!

How's this little beauty coming? She's lovely, and has piqued my interest greatly.
In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny, "Monsters are such in-teresting people."
Not that I think that's the direction she's going, but she does have a haunting quality...as does much of your work. It's a subtle monstrosity, that is always titillating.
Keep it up, Flora Dora!

DAN!!!! imagine my suprize when I found your comment!!!Ihave had you on my mind for a month now and have started working on red again!!!
This little something has undergone some major surgery, her eyes were very off so out they came!!! I have a thing about eyes cause they always have to be gouged out!!...? so they are now back in.I missed you lady, you'll never know how much.

I would love to see more WIPs of both this little chameleon eyed beauty and Red. Has anyone spoken for this intriguing face? If not I would be beholden to ya for first dibs!?
