are for ...For those of you who don't know Gretel Parker, she is a wonderfully talented artist from Cotswold England, she does beautiful felt art and I had the pleasure of purchasing some of her delightfully sweet prints at her Etsy shop " Red Flannel Elephant Designs I " met " Gretel several years ago when I first started blogging she would on occasion come over and visit with me, always one of the kindest people you could know ,sure wish we had stayed in touch but we didn't... Well maybe I wasn't ...

so lucky after all...I had a medical issue to take care of these last few weeks due to a shattered kneecap !!!ugh!!! still makes me shudder thinking about it , I slipped on some water in my own kitchen.I'm on the mend and mostly don't need my pain pills anymore,!!!YAY!!!
They made the pain go away but left me so sleepy and unable to really concentrate on doing my art, believe me I tried...

But on a lighter note I won a fantastic candle from my sweet friend April Harres Folky Art Candles it is the Pomegranate scented one, simply gorgeous!!!And my dear friend Edna of Plum Thicket Folk Art sent me a box of wonderful china paints ,just because???!!! She is such a dear sweet lady and both these ladies are talented to boot, so please go visit and tell em' I said Hi!!!
Needless to say no update today...Thank you April and Edna and all my friends for the emails.

Life is good when you have so many friends and thanks to this old computer I do have so many! My sweet friend Annette ( the one who did my BEAUTIFUL NEW BANNER)
just gave me an award and it is one of the best for anyone to recieve, I think. Thank you sweetie! but as the rules say you have to pass it on to deserving friends and these are the ones I choose, cause thats what friends are for...hehehe.

I've been given an award, by my sweet friend Lone Pierette! To have such sweet friends and to recieve an award from them, now how great is that? Thank you Lone!
I've been priviledged to know her from the "Vintage Cloth Dollmaking group" and the dolls she creates are simply gorgeous! Y'all need to go to her site and see the "Little Red Riding Hood" she has made, it's so lovely!
I think it's only a matter of time till I try my hand at making something like that!
Now I better go find out what I'm supposed to do with this award!
