Halloween "Glimmers"

The 13th hour
Somewhere past midnight but not yet one,
the bewitching hour has just begun.
When witches dance with brooms in flight
in the twilight of the night.
So come night creatures ,great and small
Wizards, haints, goblin folk and all.
It's that 13th hour that's in between,
The time to welcome Halloween !

Halloween

Scehwee Skewingthun.

The man in the moon gazed down one night..
And spied a hurried figure, neath his pale moonlight..
Said he with much concern and good intention,
"Where do you go in such a hurry, little one? ".
Hesitant at first then with great determination
The imp looked up and said "Ah am not .
awowed to sthpeak to sthrangers, but foh
your infohmathun , ah am not a widdow one,
ah am a Scehwee Skewingthun !"
And with a glare no more was said
at which point he turned and fled..

A little something...

I've been working on, on my down time...She's made of paper mache clay, her head is hollow.

Pictures help to see what need to be fixed on my real BJD project. I made a smaller doll years ago, Raven , but she really wasn't ball jointed, this one will be, more or less. I think I like the eyes, these are the second pair I inserted as I didn't really care to go with the beads I put in first, I woulda had to paint them in. I got these a few years ago too, vintage japanese glass eyes off ebay. Gotta figure out how to do the head stringing and where to purchase what kind of string to use , I read that some used wire, I was thinking coated wire.. any suggestions ??....More to come, see ya!!!
Blessings,Flora

My hats off to...

you Sherry Guariglia of Curly Top Hats at Etsy ,go pay her a visit, she's a very sweet and lovely friend!!!

Look at this stunning beautiful, couture millinery hat, that came in the mail for me!!!!I know there are many people out there that would love to own one of these beauties!!!It is impeccable in construction with a lovely design and look how beautifully it fits Miss Clara!!! Please go pay her a visit, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!!
Blessings,Flora

Is that you....?

Ms.Bow, as in Clara??? Well it's my interpretation anyway...

(Just a note to let everyone know that I apologize about All the previous wonderful comments from all my dear friends that were lost by blogger, about 3 days ago, I was able to repost this but unable to add the lovely comments back...SIGH!)

It was a very daunting task indeed and I do give props to those who do this kinda work, cause I took so long ,almost gave up a few times and too many things just looking not quite right and I still see some mistakes but not too bad for my first try if I do say so myself and this shot makes her nose look much longer than it actually is ( gotta learn how to do angle shots better, another "to do" on my already too long list )... Now to get the other stumbling block out of the way too...I'm not so good with commissions!!!
More to come, SEE YA!!!!
Blessings,Flora

Whole lotta...

Wumbwies going on...

Not sure if these guys will be done for the upcoming SpookyTimeJingles update,

Bitter is the wind, cold is the snow
While winter winds begin to blow
